About David’s Offspring

All of his six sons were born of different wives, and all were born in Hebron, where David reigned for a total of seven and a half years. After that time, he went to Jerusalem where he reigned for 33 years. This is where he had Shimea as his first born, Shobab, who was followed by Nathan and Solomon to Bathshua. He also had sons to concubines.

Solomon’s Family

The family of Solomon starts with his son Rehoboam, whose son was Abijiah. His great grandson was named Asa, who had a son named Jehosaphat. He then had a son named Joram, whose son is Ahaziah, who had a son named Jotham. Jotham then had a son named Ahaz, who had a son named Hezekiah, who had a son named Manasseh.

Manasseh had a son named Amon, who had Josiah as a son. Josiah’s firstborn was named Johanan, the second born was Jehoiakim and then Zedekiah, who was followed by Shallum. Jehoiakim had sons named Jeconiah and Zedekiah.

Starting with Jeconiah

Jeconiah had a son named Assir, who had sons named Shealtier, Malchiram, and then Pedaiah. The fourth son was Shenazzar, who was followed by Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nebadiah. Pediah had sons named Zerubbabel and Shimel.

His sons were Meshullam, Hananiah, and Shelomith. These sons had sisters named Hashubah, who was followed by Ohel, then came Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-Hesed. This made five in all. Hananiah had two sons who were named Pelatiah and Jeshaiah.
