We and look at all the information surrounding the theories of what caused the hysteria; some of them are more realistic than others. The truth is,
that only God and Jesus, and the girls who started the hysteria know exactly what started the hysteria. There are people alive today who are still susceptible to the tales, or (Now we call it) LSD laced bread, or strict puritanical teaching on folktales being demonic.
