Giovanni Battista Tiepolo (March 5, 1696 – March 27, 1770), a.k.a. Giambattista Tiepolo or Gianbattist, was an Italian printmaker and painter who resided in the Republic of Venice. He also worked in Spain and Germany and was a very prolific artist.
