The Large Cowper Madonna or popularly known as Niccolini-Cowper Madonna is a painting which portrays Mary and child against a blue sky. It was painted by Raphael in 1508. The painting is now located at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. It was the last painting he executed in his Florentine period.

The painting shows the image of the closeness of the Virgin and the child through the positions of the figures. It was believed that Raphael adapted the talent for making figures show the intimacy between one another from Leonardo Da Vinci’s works. It was later known that the painter studied Da Vinci’s works.
