Ya, well the Spartacus uprising had occurred in Germany and the raising of a Communist workers force known as the Ruhr Red Army. The Poles had aligned themselves with the Ukrainian UNR and attacked the Bolsheviks ( NOT RUSSIA) it not longer existed after October 1917) because they had decoded Bolshevik Red Army transmissions and KNEW that the Bolsheviks intended to attack through the Ukraine and Poland into Germany to link up with Communists there. THAT is why Poland attacked the fledgling USSR. The Bolsheviks were a CLEAR threat. The breakdown of the Bolshevik regime and the impossibility of Marxist dogma was starkly revealed as rebellions spread across Bolshevik territory at Tambov and Kronstadt and Lenin had to invoke War Communism and his New Economic Policy in 1922 where he begged the Capitalist west for help. Just before that the Poles and UNR had kicked the Bolsheviks OUT. The only thing that held the USSR together after that was policies of genocide ( that PRE_DATE HITLER) and the support of closet communist sympathizers in the west such as Llyod George, Ramsey MacDonald, Clemenceau and Roosevelt. Otherwise Marxism would have fallen completely on his face and taken millions more with it.
