Fra Angelico Paintings

Fra Angelico (1395-1455) was an Italian Renaissance painter best known for his depictions of Biblical scenes. As a Dominican friar of the church, he painted many frescoes and alter pieces. In 1445, Angelico was summoned by the Pope to paint some frescos in Rome. He was said to be very humble and modest.
