Threatening to declare a state of emergency where none existed. In doing that, Trump could pull money from any and every department of govt and use it as he saw fit. This was done in the past by President George W. Bush on 9-11, for example… to fund the costs of that disaster, searching for survivors in the wreckage of the two World Trade Center buildings, for example.. funding his disastrous search for “weapons of mass destruction” (which didn’t exist at all…) in Iran. Trump abuses the powers of a sitting President. He makes terrible appointments of terrible people to head the various departments of our govt. That is an abuse of his power, and has never been purposely done by any previous sitting president. Many news people compare Trump to the 2nd worst president ever — Richard Nixon, and some things Trump does have not been done since that time. If you can, try to watch The Rachel Maddow Show.
