Eyvind Earle was an American artist who is best known for his work on Disney films during the 1950s. He is the man responsible for giving Sleeping Beauty its iconic look and style. Earle began painting at 10 years old and, by the time he was 14, had his first art show in France. He experienced a lot of success during his lifetime and solo exhibitions of his work have been held all throughout the world. Earle used a variety of mediums to create his pieces with, including watercolors, oils, sculptures, drawings and scratchboards.
