El Greco Paintings

El Greco, born Doménikos Theotokópoulos, (1541 – 7 April 1614) was an architect, sculptor, and painter of the Spanish Renaissance. El Greco was so unique as an artist that most modern scholars regard him as one that belonged to no conventional school. His works are considered the precursors of Expressionism and Cubism.
