Armand Guillaumin (1841 – 1927) was a French Impressionist painter and lithographer. In 1861 he started going to school at the Académie Suisse and became lifelong friends with the artists Paul Cézanne and Camille Pissarro. Guillaumin’s work was known for his use of vibrant colors and his various paintings of Southern France and Paris. His work was shown in several Impressionist exhibitions, including the very first one in 1874.
