Victor Vasarely (April 9, 1906 Pécs – March 15, 1997), born Vásárhelyi Győző in Paris, was a Hungarian French artist whose work is said to be affiliated with Op-art. Vasarely’s Zebra, done in the 1930s, is considered by some to be one of the earliest examples of Op-art. Vasarely passed away in Paris in 1997. Learn more »
