Raphael Sanzio (more commonly known as Raphael), painted the worked entitled Young Man with an Apple. This painting was done in 1505 and used the material of oil on wood. It measures forty seven centimeters by thirty five centimeters. It is currently on display at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. The subject of the painting is said to be Franceso Maria I Della Rovere. It was said that the painting was only able to reach Florence upon the granting of patrimony to the Della Roveres as Vittoria della Rovere married Fernando II, who was next in line to become Grand Duke.
