Madonna Terranuova was a creation of Raphael, the Great Italian Renaissance painter. The material used was oil on wood. The circular painting has a diameter of 87 centimeters. It was painted between the years 1504 to 1505. It is named as such because it used to be owned by the Italian Dukes of Terranuova. From the Dukes who owned it, the painting was transferred to the Staatliche Museen in Berlin. It continues to be housed there at present. The portrait depicts the Madonna at the center carrying a child with two angels at the side watching over the central figures.
