Franz Richard Unterberger Paintings

Franz Richard Unterberger (1838 – 1902) was a romantic style painter of waterscapes, landscapes, architecture, and genre. Born to a bourgeois family in Innsbruck, he studied at the Academy of Munich under the tutelage of Julius Lange and Clemens von Zimmermann. Unterberger later attended the Academy of Weimar before locating to Dusseldorf to collaborate with Oswald von Achenbach. Learn more ยป
