Edvard Munch Paintings

Edvard Munch, born 12 December 1863 in Norway, was a Symbolist painter and printmaker. In time he became an important artist of the expressionist style. Munch explored the themes of love, anxiety, fear, death, and melancholia. This was first seen in the series The Frieze of Life of which his most famous work, The Scream, was a part of. Learn more »
